New month, new post, new garden! OH YEAH! I figured since it was the start of a new month, I should probably post something.
Here are some photos I took of our front yard before we did any weeding or planted anything near the sidewalk.

Here are our beautiful tulips. Aren't they so pretty?

If you look closely on the right hand side of this picture, you can see Brian waving. He had just finished mowing and edging the lawn. Those two front planting areas by the sidewalk were such a pain to weed! We're hoping to get a curbed border around our flower beds soon. Can't wait!
Today, just like the past few days, Brian, Tali and I have been working in our garden. We had decided to make it bigger...in fact it is actually about the length of our yard (excluding the shed obviously) and about three to four feet out! "I'm SO EXCITED and I just can't hide it!" We are planting a lot of food! In our backyard, we are planting corn, tomatoes, cantaloupe, beets, butternut and banana squash, as well as zucchini. I cannot wait! We planted the majority of it today, but I was very insistent on raking out our tilled up grass out of the garden. I'm hoping by tomorrow we can have it all raked up so we can plant some more seeds. I will post some before and after pictures of our garden once it's done. For now, here are some cute photos I took of Tali as we (mainly Brian) were working in the garden.

She was pretending to talk to her Daddy on the phone. What a cutie!

Tali had to show off her hat that Nanna Monson bought for her.

She was far too interested in what Daddy was doing in the garden.

Daddy's little ladybug.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Our oven is now fixed! Whoo hoo! I cannot be happier. I have been CRAVING some yummy brownies. By the way, if you want to stock up on brownies for food storage, they have the Pillsbury brand at Walmart for $1.00 each.....we have 10! :D
I know it's not a years worth....but it's a start! Hahahaha!
