Zach is quite a character. He's always got a smile for me and knows just what to do to make me smile. Gotta love this kid!

10 Month Man!
I am really surprised at how fast time has gone. It didn't seem to go by this fast when I was pregnant that's for sure. Since turning 10 months old, our little man has gotten two new teeth for a total of five teeth. Three up top and two on bottom. He's learned to climb stairs, but still refuses to say "mama" or wave, or try to walk. He'll do it in his own time I suppose. He sure is a cutie though!

Haircuts!
Friday I was dying to get my hair cut. It was driving me nuts because Silas would get a hold of it and yank out strands of hair. I decided to chop it. My friend Melanie was kind enough to get me in quickly.

Pinewood Derby Car
Since Tali is now in Activity Days, they decided to have a Daddy/Daughter Pinewood Derby race. We finished Tali's car yesterday, but got the weights and wheels on today. She loves her little car. She painted it, but Brian put it together and helped design it. I thought they did a great job.
Tali was so proud of her car she wanted to show it to our neighbor, Jonathan Grant.
I love these guys!
I love seeing how happy she is.
She always hams it up. She's pretending to be a flamingo.
I think her car turned out pretty cute.
Happy Pinewood Derby Day, Tali! Good luck Baby Girl!
Father's Day
This past Sunday, the 19th was Father's Day, but because we wanted to focus more on the Sabbath on Sunday, we celebrated it on Saturday for Brian. He was really surprised. A long time ago, he had said it would be really cool to get a chef's coat and a chef's hat so we bought him one. I then realized that he had also mentioned how he wanted a Liahona replica from Deseret Book to sit on his desk at work for a conversation piece. I had to get it for him. He was so excited when he opened both gifts. I was so glad to see him so happy.
I love this man!
I love how playful he is with our kids.
Now that he has a compass, he will never get lost...we hope.
It also has three different sayings inside the Liahona. "Follow the Prophet," "Let the Holy Spirit Guide," and "Trust in the Lord."
Hahaha! I love this man's sense of humor. Our "bun" has been out of the oven for 10 months.
Webelos Camp- Day 2
Day 2 of Webelos Camp was by far my favorite! We started the day off with archery! I even got to shoot the bow! It was a blast! One of my boys ended up hitting the bullseye! I have to admit, I was a little jealous. It made me happy though seeing them so excited and happy.
Before you say anything, yes, I know my elbow is a bit higher than it should be.
We also learned about different plants that are around us. We then got to go boating/canoeing! The boys had so much fun with their water fights.
Haha. So did Brian.
My butt got a little wet. I know, it's a bad picture, but I thought it was pretty funny.
Awe! Look at the little duckies!
Brian forgot to pack a spoon for his snack pack so he improvised with a granola bar.
We ended the day with Game Design where the boys had to make up a game and teach everyone how to play and then play it. The boys did a song for the closing ceremonies called "Wisconsin Milk." It was pretty funny, but they didn't have enough time to learn it so they didn't really sing it. All in all it was a great camp.
Webelos Camp- Day 1
This last weekend I had the opportunity to take my scouts to Webelos Camp up Millcreek Canyon. It was beautiful there! Plenty of shade and lots of fun activities. The first day, we shot BB guns, had a Chemistry class, an Engineering class, and went on our hike. It was so nice. The boys were so silly and entertaining. I had taken my new walking stick with me which ended up being coveted by my boys. I let then take turns using it on our hike. We had 5 boys that went to camp which was perfect because if we'd had anymore, we wouldn't have all fit in our van. Brian was able to go up with me since I am currently without an assistant. Thankfully, his parents were kind enough to watch our kids for about 9 1/2 hours for the two days. It was such a HUGE help to us!
I just have to say, my hubby is freakin' HOT!
I loved seeing our flag flying among the beautiful scenery. I'm so grateful for this country that God has blessed us with and for the freedoms we enjoy daily.
Day 2 at Lagoon
On May 30th, we were able to go on all new rides. I don't think we really repeated any. It was kind of nice. The kids had a blast up until the last two rides. We started the day going on the Music Express. It has been one of my favorite rides. Brian obviously didn't go because it was "one of those rides," but Tali and Jairus joined me for it. We were laughing almost the entire time. We then worked our way to the other end of the park going on rides the kids could go on. However, we were not able to go on the carousel, the train or Dracula's Castle because both Zach and Silas ended up throwing up. Poor kiddos. Other than that and having to break up a couple of fights, it was still a good day.
Tali was technically too big for this ride, but she rode anyway.
I love this one of Jairus and Silas. He's such a good big brother. He's got such a big heart!
You'd never know that after this ride ended they would be hitting each other. We almost left after this ride.
The last ride. During this ride, both Zach and Silas lost the contents of their stomach....on Brian. I felt so bad for the man. He handled it well though.
