So the most adorable thing happened last Monday (June 2nd). Our little Tali smiled for the first time when she was awake! She usually just smiles in her sleep, but this time she was actually awake. I'm not quite sure if it was anything I said that made her smile, but she was just so darn cute! Last night (June 7th) when she was sleeping, she also laughed in her sleep for the first time! It was the most adorable thing EVER! The sad thing is every time I go to get my camera, little Tali stops smiling or doesn't smile long enough for me to take a picture. Oh well. One day I will get a picture of it.
We've been taking little Tali to church since she was a week old and she is such a good baby! She usually sleeps through most of it, but I don't mind. Everyone just keeps saying how adorable and little she is. I must admit I never get tired of hearing that. I think Tali now looks like a good mixture of both Brian and me. She's definitely a thinker like her daddy. She will just stare off and just think a lot of the time. I think she might even have my stubborn personality. We just love her so much! We feel so blessed to have her as a member of our family!
I love the fact that Tali is sleeping for about six hours each night at only 3 weeks old! I think the reason she is sleeping so well is because my sister-in-law Libby was telling me over the phone how to swaddle her really good. I think that is the main reason why Tali sleeps so well at night so THANK YOU LIBBY!
