Lately I have been recording these fitness programs on TV so I could do them at a time that was more convenient for me....you know, like when I'm awake (they come on pretty early in the morning). The only problem is they do a lot of floor and other exercises that I can't do. So I decided to ask Brian for a Nintendo Wii and the Wii Fit w/balance board because his parents have one and we really enjoy it. Not to mention it helps us work up a pretty good sweat believe it or not. Brian had told me that we could look into buying one.
We finally bought the Nintendo Wii recently. The only problem was when I went to buy the Wii, the Wii Fit was no where to be found. I had called several other retailers (I even looked online) looking for this pesky Wii Fit w/balance board with no luck. The retail stores all told me the same story. They were completely sold out. Apparently, they only get about 4 or so in each shipment and they sell out within a few hours or minutes. They didn't even know when their next shipments would be in. Are you kidding me?
Here's an interesting question for Nintendo. If there is still such a huge demand for these little buggers, why the heck aren't they getting with the program and shipping out more product so they could continue making more money??? DUH! I can't even buy it online anywhere (even the Nintendo store unless I want to pay a ridiculous price for it). People are selling the Wii Fit w/balance board for double the price you can get it at retail stores....if they actually had it in stock. The best part is, we've been getting ads from places such as Walmart and Toys R Us that advertise "Nintendo Wii Fit w/balance board for just $99!" They don't even have any in stock! Why would they place an add for a product they don't even have to sell?!? How ridiculous is that?
I know it sounds stupid to get so irritated over something like this, but the whole reason we bought the Nintendo Wii was so we could buy the Nintendo Wii Fit w/balance board! Grrrrr!
