Eclipse

On Tuesday night, some friends and I went to see (along with a million other women and teen girls) the third installment of the Twilight Saga: Eclipse.  I absolutely LOVE the women I went with!  They are so freakin hilarious!  We were cracking jokes and pretending to fawn over Jacob's rippling muscles.  I'll admit, yes he has a nice body, but hello he's what 17?  He's just barely post pubescent! Plus, he's got a funny lookin nose.  The funny part though was there was this passionate kiss between Edward and Bella and because I find Edward so repulsive (so not how I pictured him in the book!) to look at, I made a vomiting sound and a few of the people around me started laughing.  I didn't think I was that loud, but apparently I was. 

The only downside to going to a midnight showing of a popular show is not having reserved seating!  The only seats available were on the very front row.  One of my friends refused to sit on the front row (which I can't say that I blame her) because it was so fetchin close to the screen it felt like I was kinking my neck just to watch the stupid movie.  My friend went to find a seat somewhere else and ended up sitting by herself because people were hording empty seats.  There was actually one woman (who out of necessity) was literally taking up TWO seats.  I don't want this to sound rude, or insensitive, but HOW do people let themselves get like that? 

The movie turned out to be pretty cool!  I have to say I really enjoyed the banter between Jacob and Edward.  There was one line that Jacob had said to Edward that he was "hotter" than him.  All the girls in the theater started screaming and laughing at that line.  It was awesome, but the best part was near the end with all the action.
