Fire Station Open House

Back on October 15th, our local Fire Department had an open house and we were able see and do a lot of things.  The kids loved it beside the fact they were a little tired.  They did pretty good though.

It looks like they're ready to go off-roading.

 We got to go on a tour of the fire station and during the tour they asked if the kids wanted to spray water from the fire hose and of course they all got really excited.  As we were walking around the back of the fire department, I noticed they had a vegetable garden growing.  I thought it was pretty awesome.  Anyway, Tali was pretty excited that she got to "help" the fireman with the hose.

 She thought it was really cool to get up in the fire truck.  Then again, what kid wouldn't?....

 Wait.  Don't answer that.  Jairus wasn't exactly thrilled.  At least he doesn't look as upset as he really was in this picture.

 Well, at least Jairus isn't exactly screaming in this picture.  Of course he is with his daddy.

 Honk! Honk!  Comin' through!

 I think by this time they were about done and ready to go home, but overall, it was pretty cool!
