Update

Haha.  Apparently I'm pretty bad at this whole blogging thing.  I have so much to say and so much to write, but for the lack of time, I will give a (hopefully) brief synopsis of what has been going on in our neck of the woods.

Yes, WE ARE ALIVE!!!  :)  I was participating in a double quartet thing, but was later told that they wanted to keep it as a single quartet because the original people they had were very strong vocally, and I was not.  It's totally fine though.  I think it worked out for the best.

We got accepted on the home that had a bigger yard, square footage, and a HUGE food storage room.  WHOO HOO!  We've thankfully been able to move forward with both contracts by the grace of God.  He is truly watching over us!  Things are just falling into place so quickly that I wonder why I even worry or stress about it so much at times.

Today was my last time singing with my current ward choir.  :(  We sang a GORGEOUS song called He Comes Again.  I don't know who it is by, but it is a tear jerker!  I am honored that I was able to perform this song and have it be my last one to sing in this ward.

Our family had the opportunity to "scope out" our new ward.  The people are AMAZING!  They were so welcoming and genuine.  Not to say anything about any other ward, but the feel there was totally different.  It felt like they were just embracing us into their ward already.  In fact the Primary President (whom I met the first time we went there) actually embraced me and was so excited that we were going to be in their ward.  It really made me feel like I had died and gone to Heaven.  After church, we literally had a swarm of people come up and introduce themselves to us and talk to/welcome us to their ward.  There were so many people that live on my same street that are in the ward that told me "let me know when you move in and we'll come by and bring you something" or "let me know when you move in and we'll come and hang out."  Just little things like that made all the difference.  I am so happy and know this is the right place for us.  It will be very difficult to leave.  I have met some pretty amazing friends here.  I will always be up for a girls night/movie night!

I may or may not be able to blog again until we move, but I will do my best to catch up on everything in more detail.  Oh boy do I have a lot to do!  :)
