Our New Home!

We finally got into our new home and settled!  WHOO HOO!  I LOVE having all this space and yard!  Our neighbors are some of the best I've ever had!  I do however miss some of my best friends from my previous neighborhood though.  I will give ya'll a tour of our new home with some photos I've taken for those friends of mine who don't do facebook.....Netty!  :)  Hahaha!  You know I love ya!  :)

This was our house the day we first moved in.  We were waiting for our realtor to come and unlock our house, so we thought we'd take a photo while we waited.  :)
After we were all moved in and settled!
This is our Living Room as you walk in the front door.
Straight ahead leads into our Dining Room/Kitchen area and to the left leads to the bedrooms.
Dining Room/Kitchen.  I've actually turned the table vertically which I think looks better.  I'm hoping to replace our table with a black one that has a leaf in it.  We actually have quite a bit of space which would be great for hosting Thanksgiving dinner.
Our Kitchen.  It's definitely smaller than our previous one, but we make up for it in our food storage rooms.
More of our dining area.
Our little man's Room.  He absolutely LOVES anything with dogs, so I think I may redo his room in dogs, but I would LOVE to do it in NY Yankees or just sports because he loves soccer balls, basketballs, baseballs, footballs, you name it.  I guess I'll have to think about that one.

Our Bathroom is kind of weird.  It's kind of like a 1 1/4 bath.  It's separated by two doors, so our bathroom is split into three sections.
This is the first part you come to.
The second part (between two doors) is where our bathtub is.
The third part is kind of like a vanity for the Master Bedroom.
Here is our Master Bedroom.  We no longer have that blanket in the window.  We were finally able to get blinds!  YAY!  I never thought I'd be so happy to have blinds in my house!
And here is my baby girl's room.
Our stairs!  We actually have stairs and a basement!!!  WHOO HOO!  I have to admit, it is really nice to have the kids go downstairs to play when I'm trying to clean or get things put away.
At the bottom of our stairs, we have a closet that is great for storing extra blankets and quilts.  It gets nice and cool downstairs which is great for the Summer.  We do have an unfinished basement that we will eventually finish, but for now it's our Family Room/Play Room.
This little door leads to a little play nook under the stairs that the kids LOVE to peak their head through.
I love my little man!  Isn't he adorable???
That is his favorite place to play.
This is a spare room in our basement.  I am SO painting it when I get a chance!  It's this ugly orange-y color.  I think I'll paint it the same color as the upstairs.
Another view of the spare room.  It has our water shut-off in here, so I think this room may end up being a craft room or something, but for now it's our extra "store things we don't know what to do with" room.

The area off to the right will be another bathroom when we can get around to doing it (which can't be soon enough!  One bathroom is killing us!).  The area off to the left that you can't see behind the wall is...
Our Laundry Room.  I eventually would like to replace those metal cabinets with wood ones, but for now they work just fine.
Our Family/Play Room.  Behind that white door on the right are....
Our totally awesome HUGE food storage rooms!
 Check out all that room!
This area is supposed to be for another bedroom and that empty space through the "door" I assume is supposed to be a closet.  I think what we want to do here is do a little bar type thing with a mini fridge and microwave and turn our family room into a theater room or something.
Then, if we really wanted, we could turn this "closet" area into a game room with maybe an air hockey table or something like that.
Here is our HUGE backyard.  It's not fenced in yet, but we're working on it along with many other projects.  I'm so looking toward to Summer to have a luau or just get togethers.  I love having so much space!
Here is our back patio.  Brian eventually wants to build a pergola around the patio/deck area with icicle lights and wisteria growing up around it.  Kind of like what we had at our previous house.  That may have to wait a while though.
The other side of our patio.  It's so nice to sit out here at night!  It's nice and quiet and oh so relaxing!
This concludes your tour of the Monson home.  Thanks for stopping by!  :)
A HUGE THANK YOU to the Frank family for allowing us to store our refrigerator in your garage until we were able to move in, the Howard family for helping us move that beast of a refrigerator in the house, my mom and in-laws for helping us load and move our stuff to our new home!

Looks awesome! I miss having a yard! Someday. I was just talking to Tanner at dinner tonight about looking forward to having a garden. You're in Stansbury Park now? Why did you move?
