Goodbye old friend!!!!!

So as I'm sure some of you mom's can relate that after you have a baby, your body just goes down hill. DANG GRAVITY! I decided that since I'm finding flab where muscle had once resided, I was going to get my body back!

Today, I had decided it was time to get a gym membership. So I had gone down to our local gym and bought one. BYE BYE FLABBY ME! I am not doing it so much to lose weight, but my main goal is to just be healthy and toned. I noticed I have been losing weight but at the same time becoming less flexible and more "squishy." I'm really hoping to be able to just feel better about myself. I do have to admit I was quite flattered though when some punk kid was whistling at me (with Tali no less) as I was going into the gym to get my pass thinking I was hot stuff. DUH! I HAD A BABY WITH ME! WHAT AN IDIOT!

So as I say goodbye to my squishy self, I welcome the healthy me to take over. So bubye my oh so yummy and delicious ding dongs and cupcakes. I am turning to fruits and vegetables as my new "comfort food."

I have to admit, I'm getting really excited to work on the few goals that I have made to enrich my life. Hopefully I can stick with it.

Good job Amy. I hope I get to see you at the gym in passing! And maybe get to watch little Tali once in a while.

You can do it, Amy!!!! It's hard to stay motivated (my bum is still hanging south, remember...), so if you need help, you know who you can call to get your booty to the gym (just don't call me at 6:00 in the morning, okay?)!!! :) :)
