Back in August, we had a ward BBQ which ended up being probably the hottest day of the year. I felt so bad for our Bishop who was cooking all the burgers.
Our ward has some pretty amazing youth. Two in particular are Amanda and Madison. Tali absolutely ADORES them! Every time she sees them, she always gets so excited and literally runs to them. They are so great with her too. I absolutely LOVE these girls! Well these girls at any ward function always take Tali to go play which is a HUGE relief for me mainly because Brian's work schedule keeps him from attending such functions and it is really hard to keep an eye on both Jairus and Tali.
As we were leaving the BBQ, Tali kept asking for Amanda. It turned out that Amanda's family was in the car ahead of us on our way home. I told Tali that Amanda was in the vehicle ahead of us and she said in this pouting, upset voice (almost accusatory) pointing her finger at the vehicle "I'm crying about YOU!" It was seriously the funniest thing ever! I could not stop laughing!
