DNA Results!

A while ago, Brian and I decided to do a DNA test for genealogy purposes. He got his results back, but I had to resubmit my sample. Big shocker. 51% is from...wait for it...Scandanavia. Big shock with the pale skin, red highlights, and green eyes. I had a pretty good guess it would mostly be from Sweden and Norway. It was kind of cool though to see how many matches of how many close relatives there were. I am hoping to get in touch with some of them and perhaps add more to my genealogy. I will look more into it, but for now, I need to go to bed. Tomorrow will be a busy day.
This is my "ethnicity estimate." I thought it was pretty cool, but now I kind of feel like a mutt. Tali thought it was really cool because I am "part African." I had to remind her it was less than 1%. It was fun to see these results and I'm glad I did it. For those interested, I just got an email yesterday that the kits are on sale for $79 when they are normally $99. I highly recommend doing it. I was a bit surprised by some of my results.
