Good Friday

I'm excited for today! We've been asked by the prophet to fast for relief of the COVID-19 pandemic. It's extra special because he asked everyone of the world to join in the fast regardless of religious affiliation. I was excited to see that many churches around the world are joining the fast. I hope that my siblings are joining us in the fast. May Heavenly Father bless us with relief.

This whole "stay safe, stay home" initiative has been quite a new experience. We've limited going out in public to the most essential trips and only one of us at a time. Going to the store it's common to see people donning facemasks and gloves and keeping their distance. The store is still short on some things, but we've been able to get by on what we have. We cancelled our family vacation to have a stay-cation at home. The bishop has directed us to perform the sacrament for our homes and bring the sacrament to those that don't have priests in their home. Staying home reminds me of the passover. Funny that we're observing the passover too. This week we had Amy's birthday, Easter, General Conference and what I'd like to call the great fast. Amazing enough, I'd say it's been a good week.

Stay home, stay safe and wash your hands you dirty animals 😅
