Vacation: Day 2- Mother's Day/Temple

Since it was a Sunday, and considering the crappy night we had, we were pretty low maintenance with breakfast.  We had donuts and fruit.  :)  It was so yummy!  Normally, I don't eat like that, but since we were on vacation, I made an exception.  We were going to go to church there, because it was Mother's Day and I wanted to check out the ward there and see what the people were like.  That didn't happen due to the lack of sleep night before.  So we went for the next best thing.  Watching the Living Scriptures dvd's and going to the temple.  After breakfast we had all gotten dressed in our Sunday clothes and then it was time for lunch.  Tali ended up spilling milk all over her dress and I spilled stuff all over mine as well.  They were both accidental.  I was going to just relax in the hotel, but Brian was insistent that we get out.  So we washed our clothes by hand and dried them in our van (yes, it was that warm!).  They were dry within about a half an hour.  We looked up where the temple was (or at least I thought) and we were off!

When we got to our destination, Brian and I looked at each other and said "Oh, this must be a mini temple."  As we walked around the parking lot and the grounds, we soon discovered it was actually a church building.  Dumb, I know.  I then called my piano instructor who had been there and got the address to the actual temple.  It was gorgeous in that area!  Anyway, here are the pictures of our visit to the temple.

Here's a dead give away that you're at the right place and not at a church building.  :)
It looks a lot like the Jordan River Temple, I think.
For some reason, I really liked this picture.  Yes it was of the temple, but for some reason looking at this picture made me think of hope.  Something about it was just inspiring.
This was one of my favorite pictures!  It reminds me of the primary song "My Heavenly Father Loves Me."
The little man just happy and hanging out.
I'm proud to be the mother of these two beautiful children.
This was another picture that I really loved.
I liked this one for a few reasons, but I can't really seem to put it into words.
This was behind the temple.  It had such a beautiful garden.  And there is my husband posing.  He's so silly!
This was the best picture I could get of us behind the temple because Tali didn't want her picture taken....again.
We had seen this family walking around the grounds with their kids and the husband was kind enough to offer to take our family picture.
I liked the angle of this picture that my hubby took of me and my little man.  Thanks Babe!
I know all the temples are beautiful, and this one was no exception.  There was just something I loved about it.
Our best family picture, I think.
What a great ending to a fabulous Mother's Day!
