Happy boy....
Not so happy girl.
Tali loved watching the baby elephant. She kept "Elfant! Elfant! Over here!" It was really cute!
One of my favorite animals to see at the zoo are the orangutans and the gorillas! I don't know why, but I just love watching them!
This guy was in the middle of eating. And of course Tali was calling to it to come here.
WOW! Look at that resemblance! Hehehe! :)
I have such an awesome husband!
Tali did really like the carousel though.
I think I should have actually switched to a different animal because when the gorilla would go up, Jairus was almost too high for me to reach him. I had to stand on my tip toes.
For those who haven't been to the zoo recently, they have put these dinosaurs around the zoo. They were pretty cool, not to mention a nice photo-op.
As Tali was running away she screamed "Aaaah! Don't eat me!"
Tali was a little scared at first, but eventually warmed up to them.
I was surprised she wanted to go stand by it. She kept going back and forth between the "momma" dinosaur and the "baby" dinosaur. The triceratops and the stegosaurus were actually my favorite dinosaurs in school
She wanted to give the baby one a kiss.
And what fun would it be without getting a picture in front of the T-Rex?
RAAAAAAR!
Apparently the dinosaur wasn't too interested in offerings.
(By the way, that was a joke!)
I thought the dinosaurs were a nice addition to the zoo.
We also took the kids on the train (which was actually a first for all of us).
The kids loved riding the train and seeing the animals.
Tali is such a good big sister. When her brother is upset, she goes and gives him a hug and says "It's alright, Jairus. I'm here."
This was actually the best picture I could get with the kids.
All in all it was a pretty good day.

I cant believe how big they are!
Happy Zoo day! :) :) I'd forgotten they added dinosaurs. My kids would like that.
Thank you for providing some reading material. I've been waiting as you know... hahaha :)
