More Baptism Photos

Today, I (Amy) took Tali to the Salt Lake Temple to get some more pictures for her baptism announcement.  I just love them!  They turned out great!  She was so good and so photogenic.  It was a little chilly though.
These first ones were in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Temple Square.
She had to get this one with Joseph Smith.
I love this one even though it's a little dark and a bit blurry
This one below was a little difficult because there was scaffolding.  They were fixing the side of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.  I love the silhouette.
As people were passing I heard them say how adorable this picture was with her holding her baby blessing picture.  She just beamed.
I love this one.
I love, love, love this one too!  I think she is just so beautiful!

We had misplaced our Book of Mormon, so that's why I don't have her with them in these temple pictures.
Have I mentioned how much I love this girl?
We were able to borrow a Book of Mormon from the missionaries.
I decided that this photo would be good to hold when she gets married and kind of recreate it only with her in her wedding dress holding this picture.
I love, love LOVE this picture!
And this one.  It reminds me of a talk given in the October 2015 General Conference "Which Way Do You Face."
It was a bit windy and Tali had to hold her dress down.
I love this one also.
And this one.

Tali's Baptism Photos

Today I took some fun photos of Tali in her baptism dress by a local pond.  I absolutely adore this little girl!  Sure, we have our moments, but I am so proud of her and how much she has grown recently.  I had so much fun taking these photos of our little princess.
Our baby girl is growing up so fast!  I love how photogenic she is.

This is probably my favorite of them all.

Freeze Dried Fruit Pizza!!!...& Carrots

We freeze dried fruit pizza.  Bring on Armageddon!  Oh yeah , and we did carrots too.  Now we just need brownies and we'll be set!   Haha.  All joking aside, this was probably my favorite thing to freeze dry.

After freeze drying:
Not too bad.  Even Jairus tried it and liked it which is saying A LOT!
So did Tali:

Cinderella Skeleton

The Second Grade staff at Tali's school put together a Cinderella Literacy Night.
They portrayed different versions of the Cinderella story.  The version Tali's class did was Cinderella Skeleton.  They did a fantastic job with the decorations.  The children did a great job!
The kids were able to dress up in nice clothes and perform for the parents.  Tali wanted her hair to look like Elsa's at her coronation in the movie Frozen.  It wasn't perfect, but I did my best.
They did such a great job decorating.
Tali's illustration of their story.
The wonderful 2nd Grade teachers.
The kids got beautifully decorated cupcakes and were able to decorate their own picture frames.
Tali and her friend Sophia being goofy.
Tali and her awesome teacher!
So I have to admit.  I had a parent fail.  Tali was supposed to dress up (I was thinking Sunday dress) but when we got there, all the girls were dressed fancy.  I was so embarrassed.  I had her under dressed for this thing that was so important to her.  Honestly, I don't think she cared, but I did.  It wasn't until after we got settled that I realized Tali had a Cinderella type dress at home, but it was too late.  It was also a size 6 so I didn't think it would fit her anymore.
The next day, the second graders were putting the show on again in the morning and in the afternoon for the student body.  I was curious to see if the Cinderelly type dress she had would still fit her.  I had her try it on and sure enough it still fit!  I told her she could wear it for the student body performance at school. When I went to her afternoon performance, I saw the other kids and noticed she was over dressed.  The kids without speaking parts were dressed in normal clothes...in fact, I dare say she was the fanciest one there.  Oops!  Again, she didn't care.  She was happy we were there and that she looked pretty for her special day.
"Some day my prince will come..."  Okay so that song is from Snow White, not Cinderella, but it fits the picture below.
I thought her hair looked much better the day of the student body performance.
Our little princess!
It was a really great experience for her.  She LOVED every minute of it!
