General Conference Weekend!

This past weekend was wonderful and full of incredible messages and counsel.  All of which I plan to go back and reread and study.  I wasn't able to get a whole lot out of conference, but what I did get out of it was pretty amazing.

The last few conferences we've tried to make it fun for the kids to keep them entertained which didn't seem to last that long.  I printed off some conference packets from lds.org for the kids which had their attention for a short amount of time.  

We've found that taffy can entertain them although they may not listen.  

We finally toward the end of the last session on Sunday were able to get everyone semi-quiet and be able to focus.

At times, I would catch a glimpse of Silas watching the tv.  I thought it was pretty cool.

It wasn't perfect, but we tried.

After General Conference ended, we decided to take our family for a walk around the block.  It was such a nice day!  Brian pointed out that some of my favorite flowers were blooming.

I LOVE the smell of these flowers!  Whenever I smell them, I identify it with the smell of Spring.  

Brian had also pointed out this different flower among all the others.  

Oh how we LOVE Spring!
