Amy's Birthday Celebrations

Saturday, April 9th, was my birthday.  To celebrate, we had our best friends, Alan and Lynette Nordgren and their children over for a BBQ.  It was so great to hang out with them and their family.  We talked a lot about our own theories about the Star Wars movie The Force Awakens.  We watched some spoof Star Wars sketches on YouTube from Kid Snippets and Studio C that were pretty funny to.  Lynette and I also were able to play and sing some songs that we loved.  It was so fun!  We just love that family!

I was also able to see my wonderful friend Leora Silver and took her some fruit pizza.  It was such a great birthday!  I was also able to snap these pictures that I loved.  A rainbow and some very pretty narcississ flowers that were growing in our front yard.

You can't see much of the rainbow in this picture because it started going away, but I saw it and it was lovely!

Sunday, we had my little brother, his wife and son, and my mom and stepdad over for a BBQ and cake and ice cream.  Silas started scooting a lot more.  He sure liked my little brother's family.  He kept scooting over to them and playing with his cousin Aiden.  They are only six days apart in age.  I think it's pretty cool.

My family made these cute notes for me for my birthday.  I love my family!

Jairus wrote me this little note.  It reads "Mom I love you.  Mom I like how you make me smile.  Love Jairus"

Brian made me this chocolate cake with Nutella between the two layers, fudge and strawberry frosting on top.  It was pretty yummy!
