They portrayed different versions of the Cinderella story. The version Tali's class did was Cinderella Skeleton. They did a fantastic job with the decorations. The children did a great job!
They did such a great job decorating.
The kids were able to dress up in nice clothes and perform for the parents. Tali wanted her hair to look like Elsa's at her coronation in the movie Frozen. It wasn't perfect, but I did my best.
Tali's illustration of their story.
The wonderful 2nd Grade teachers.
The kids got beautifully decorated cupcakes and were able to decorate their own picture frames.

Tali and her awesome teacher!
So I have to admit. I had a parent fail. Tali was supposed to dress up (I was thinking Sunday dress) but when we got there, all the girls were dressed fancy. I was so embarrassed. I had her under dressed for this thing that was so important to her. Honestly, I don't think she cared, but I did. It wasn't until after we got settled that I realized Tali had a Cinderella type dress at home, but it was too late. It was also a size 6 so I didn't think it would fit her anymore.
The next day, the second graders were putting the show on again in the morning and in the afternoon for the student body. I was curious to see if the Cinderelly type dress she had would still fit her. I had her try it on and sure enough it still fit! I told her she could wear it for the student body performance at school. When I went to her afternoon performance, I saw the other kids and noticed she was over dressed. The kids without speaking parts were dressed in normal clothes...in fact, I dare say she was the fanciest one there. Oops! Again, she didn't care. She was happy we were there and that she looked pretty for her special day.
"Some day my prince will come..." Okay so that song is from Snow White, not Cinderella, but it fits the picture below.
I thought her hair looked much better the day of the student body performance.
Our little princess!
It was a really great experience for her. She LOVED every minute of it!
