Easter Family Photos

 I took some photos of our little family for Easter.  Some of them are just funny with how the kids are in the photos.  Enjoy!

Our gorgeous girl!  She doesn't let us forget it either.  Not that she's vain or anything, she's just confident.  We love her!

I know this may sound a tad bit biased, but we make some pretty cute kids!

Easter Festivities

Happy Easter everyone!  I hope you all had an awesome holiday.  I've posted some of our fun Easter pics below.

Some of our colored eggs

 She loved coloring the eggs.  She even ended up putting another color pellet in with the pink dye and ended up making (sorry for the mental image) poopy green.

 We decided to only color a dozen eggs.

 We ended up putting a soccer and a butterfly sticker on hers.  She loved it!

Our little Easter kit came with these little things to wrap around the egg, but instead I let Tali use them as bracelets.

 These are some chocolate covered marshmallow Easter eggs that the Young Women from our ward made.  They were so yummy!  We didn't get one for Jairus because he obviously can't eat them anyway.

First Game

Yesterday my baby girl had her first soccer game!  At first, I really thought it would turn out like her pictures did, but she actually warmed up to her coach and got out on the field!  She even kicked the ball a few times!  Here are some photos from the game.  Oh and just in case you were wondering, her team won!

 She was so excited that her Grandma and Grandpa came to see her play.  She just wanted to hold on to Grandpa almost the entire time.

She really enjoyed the snacks after the game.  She couldn't wait to eat them!

Fixed New "Do"

Today, I went to get my hair fixed from a woman in my neighborhood.  She was recommended to me by a friend in my ward (THANK YOU BECKY!!!!).  My new hairstylist is AWESOME!  She is so good!  Here is what my hair looks like now.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!!

I think this hairstyle may be a keeper!  It's so me!

 

Not again!

I assume everyone in their lives have had at least one bad haircut, right?  Well, I can't count how many times I've had bad haircuts!  Really!  Today I went in to get my hair cut because I was sick of my kids pulling my hair (even in ponytails Jairus would pull it out) or finding some way to wrap it in my face.  Here is the picture of what I wanted.

See how it kind of has sort of an A-line (very slight)?  I didn't want a straight bob and I told the hairstylist that.  She didn't speak much English and she was older too.  I decided to not let my prejudices get the better of me and so I let her cut it.  This is what I got.

I could be wrong, but I don't see any comparison as to what I wanted and what I got.  Well, other than the fact that they are both short.  Thankfully I have an appointment with someone else to fix it tomorrow.  HOPEFULLY, they can fix it!

First Day of Soccer!

What a day it was!  Tali was so excited to go to soccer!  When we got there, Tali got a little shy and didn't really want to talk to anyone.  Her soccer coach seemed pretty nice.  He was so good with Tali.  She looked so cute in her super long uniform.  After we got her in her uniform, we had gotten her soccer ball to start kicking around.  One time she kicked it to one of her teammates and he went to kick the ball back to her and she put her hand out and said "NO!  That's my soccer ball!"  I had to try to explain to her that it was okay and he was on her team, but for some reason she started getting cranky and was not being cooperative.

When we were taking team photos, she wanted Daddy to be in the picture with her.  She would not let him go, but even still she threw a fit.  It got even worse when they were going to get their individual pictures taken.  She was kicking and screaming and flailing her arms.  So again, Brian held her and ended up having her picture taken with Brian holding her upside down.  Yep.  And we paid $30 for those awesome pictures.  Brian and I told each other that when she gets married, those pictures are so going in a wedding picture montage!  Here are some of the photos that I took at the Fitness Center when she met her coach.
