What a year!

About a week ago we enjoyed stuffed peppers for the first time in our lives. Brian had found the recipe in one of our cookbooks and decided to make them before our peppers (yes, fresh from the garden) went bad. They were DELICIOUS! Tali even enjoyed them quite a bit.

Before the frost hit, we were trying to get everything picked. We really didn't expect as much as we had received. I think our total carrot count was 98. Granted we did have quite a few small ones too. We also ended up getting quite a few onions and garlic. It was quite an excellent gardening year for us! We feel truly blessed with everything we had received!

Last weekend since it was descent weather, we decided to prepare the garden area and till it up for next year.

It's amazing how bare our yard looks now. We already miss going outside and being able to pick all the fresh produce from our garden.

We were sad to see it go, but are looking forward to planning our garden for next year. We can't wait!

Wish our back yard looked as good as yours after the garden is gone.
